Milad Marvian

Milad
Milad Marvian is a Ph.D. student in the Electrical Engineering Department of University of Southern California, and a Research Assistant in Daniel Lidar’s group. He obtained his Master’s Degree at Sharif University of Technology (SUT), with thesis on quantum cryptography, under joint supervision of M.R. Aref and V. Karimipour in 2010. In this thesis a new quantum secret sharing scheme was proposed. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, with thesis on designing Diffractive Optical Elements. As a member of Information Systems and Security Laboratory at SUT, he worked on the secret key capacity of two-way broadcast channels. His current research interests are quantum information and computing especially quantum error corrections and quantum adiabatic computing. He is also interested in classical information theory and cryptography.
