Alexander joined Prof. Lidar’s group in January 2025 under USC Dornsife’s PhD program. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Physics at Reed College in 2021 with an undergraduate thesis exploring engineered dissipation in superconducting circuits. Following his undergraduate studies he worked two years for the Los Alamos National Laboratory on electromagnetic radiation simulation for the DIORAMA project. Currently his research interests include quantum error correction, simulation, and control.
