Shixin Wu

Shixin joined Prof. Lidar’s group in 2024 under the ECE PhD program and is a Viterbi Graduate Fellowship recipient. He received his BS in Computer Science and Mathematics from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 2022, where he worked with Prof. Joshua Holden on quantum complexity theory. He received his MS in quantum information science from the University of Southern California in 2023, where he worked with Prof. Todd Brun on quantum error correction codes and their decoders. His research interests include quantum error correction and fault-tolerant quantum computation.
