Victor Kasatkin

Victor Kasatkin got his PhD at the California Institute of Technology working under the supervision of Matilde Marcolli. In addition he took courses in machine learning and quantum computing and later TA-ed Yaser’s “Learning from data” course. After the PhD he applied his software engineering and machine learning skills at Google. Later, as a senior software engineer, he led the launch and development of Pay For Conversion backend. In 2021 he joined Daniel Lidar’s group as a postdoctoral researcher to work on applications of quantum computing to machine learning.
